We are famous for giving our wedding gifts late.  These two quilts are no exception.  Charlie's and Amandas was almost 3 years late.  Trevor and Liz's was a little better, with being just shy of a year. 

 I designed and made this quilt last fall.  It was inspired by our mountain biking activities around the sound.  Nick's dad thought it was very symbolic of Nick commuting to work on his bike, and me commuting to the UofW via ferry.  The city in the background was quilted with metalic thread.  If you look closely at the mountain biker, I did some details such as a helmet, clothes, and a camelback.  In the future I hope to make other landscape quilts of road biking, kayaking, and maybe a running one with Luna... who knows.
